Yes! Our bamboo sheets are certified STANDARD 100 BY OEKO-TEX®. OEKO-TEX® is a global independent testing and certification system for textile products, dedicated to minimizing the use of harmful chemicals in the manufacturing process.

Our organic bamboo fabric is hypoallergenic, breathable, and naturally antibacterial. It is free from harmful chemicals, making it ideal for those with sensitive skin, or allergies, or your little ones.

Many believe that a higher thread count automatically means better linen, but this isn't always true. Thread count alone doesn't ensure quality; if the linen is made from short, coarse, and rough threads, a high thread count won’t guarantee a luxurious feel. Additionally, comparing thread counts across different materials isn’t practical since raw materials and manufacturing processes vary. The true quality of linen is better assessed by evaluating the materials used, weaving techniques, dyeing methods, and overall craftsmanship.

By following the laundry care instructions provided on our website and the packaging of your new sheets, you can expect minimal shrinkage. Our sheets have been pre-washed and pre-shrunk to maintain their quality.

With proper use and care, your bamboo sheets will provide you with many restful nights.
For optimal softness and breathability, please wash your sheets before their first use. Machine wash them in cold water (no more than 30°C) and separately from other garments.
Use a liquid detergent, but avoid fabric softeners and bleach, as they can damage the fabric.
Air drying is ideal for bamboo sheets, but if necessary, you can tumble dry them on the gentlest setting.

The quality of bamboo fabric can vary based on how it is spun, dyed, and treated for pilling. At Zenluxe Home, we partner with manufacturers who use top-notch materials and advanced weaving and dyeing technologies. While the bamboo fabric is prone to minimal pilling due to friction, this is not considered a defect. If pilling occurs, it can be minimized or removed by following the care instructions provided during washing and drying.

Our bamboo fitted sheets are designed to fit mattresses up to 40 cm in depth.

Additionally, our bamboo sheets are designed to be biodegradable, reducing their long-term impact on landfills.

Most bamboo sheets on the market are made from 100% bamboo viscose, as it provides the greatest benefits. Bamboo viscose is known for its softness and durability. At Zenluxe Home, we ensure our sheets are crafted from 100% bamboo viscose and adhere to strict effluent treatment protocols.

Another widely used material in bamboo sheets is bamboo lyocell. Sheets made from 100% bamboo lyocell are highly sustainable, as this material is produced by dissolving raw bamboo with a non-toxic solvent. Although durable, bamboo lyocell sheets are generally less soft compared to those made from 100% bamboo viscose.

In the US, only one other company uses Bamboo Lyocell, and their sheets come from the same factory as ours. Given this, I have serious doubts about whether the proper lyocell production methods were followed. Additionally, LYOCELL is known to be prone to pilling and adds approximately $100 to the cost of the sheets.
